Sea Mountain Hotel - Pahala

We had a lovely stay! The one-bedroom apartment was spacious and clean. The black sand beach was so cool, but the lack of nearby dining options was a bit of a hassle.

Great location with private parking on site...

Overall had FAIRLY NICE stay during your Big Island vacation. The location was good and stunning, not very far from Niagara Golf Trail. The staff was very welcoming and pleasant and we will definitely visit place next time.

Stayed for 14 nights at sea mountain and loved it! The studio with a sofa bed was perfect. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking easy. The location is so quiet and peaceful, away from the busy tourist spots. We enjoyed the nice view and nearby black sand beach with sea turtles, just a 10-minute walk away. The staff were super nice and responsive when we had a few issues.

No complains at all, the venue met standard, can't recommend it highly enough it. I greatly enjoyed hotel's marvellous location and truly wonderful and very welcoming staff. A national park and parks were near the property.

I loved the peaceful location, just a 10-minute walk to the fine black sand beach, where I often spotted sea turtles. A minor issue with ants arose but didn't overshadow my overall enjoyment.

We stumbled upon this charming condo, nestled between Hilo and Kona. Every morning, we enjoyed ocean views and good beach walks. The kitchen was perfect for home-cooked meals!

Though the location was idyllic, it felt a bit isolated. The nearest store was quite a drive, so make sure to stock up before arriving.

The air conditioning setup was also inconvenient, locked with a padlock, impeding any relief on hotter days. The sun loungers around the pool are permanently anchored and immobile. It's a place suited for those well-prepared for a secluded stay.
